The main house has the master bedroom and Jacuzzi bath on the second with Olympic size (between queen & king) bed and TV/DVD. A gas remote control fireplace and two decks, one overlooking the pool and one with a direct Gulf view makes a romantic spot. Two guest bedrooms on the first floor each have queen beds and their own baths and TVs. The den/office has a queen sleeper and half bath.
The open, expansive living room with its fireplace, vaulted wood ceilings, 42” plasma TV/DVD and luxury kitchen has a view to the Gulf beach. A wonderfully furnished, covered lanai is adjacent to the large, heated pool.
The kitchen is equipped with granite counters, large Sub-Zero refrigerator, gas cooktop, and Jenn-Air grill, and more to make even a professional chef happy. The formal dining room seats 8-10 comfortable and also views the Gulf, as does the outside dining deck.
If you rent the entire estate, you’ll also have use of the guest house, a separate building just 25 yards from the main house, with its living area on the second floor. One large bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a TV. A second bedroom has a queen bed. There are 2 full baths. It has a fully equipped, granite kitchen for a quick snack or a full meal.
Both houses have hardwood floors and wood walls to give a warm, classic beach feel in addition to the contemporary and classic island style furnishings. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans keep things cool. Naturally all rooms in both houses have cable TVs and stereo systems. A gas grill is on the pool deck for outdoor cooking. A washer and dryer is available in both main and guest house.
The beach is a 25-yard walk down the private beach path. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are provided. Although Captiva’s beaches are public, there’s seldom any one within a hundred yards or more of our beach entrance. This is the estate area, where access to the beach is very limited to all but those lucky few living or vacationing in one of these exclusive properties. Most times you’ll find the beach deserted for your own privacy. Enjoy the sun, the calm Gulf of Mexico water and the famously fantastic sunsets from Bali Hi.
