Captiva is very popular all year long, with only a few weeks in the fall that can be considered “off season”, and there are a limited number of rental houses available. Captiva is usually booked heavier than Sanibel, as Sanibel houses rent only monthly, while Captiva house rentals are weekly on a Saturday arrival schedule.
